Role of Educational Quality Coordination

Since 2019, the Natural and Computational Sciences College has elevated its commitment to educational excellence by establishing an Educational Quality Coordination (EQC) office. The EQC plays a pivotal role in ensuring the college’s academic programs meet and exceed established standards, fostering a thriving learning environment, and ultimately supporting the success of both the college and its students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development and Review: The EQC is involved in the development, review, and updating of curricula for all programs offered by the college. This includes ensuring alignment with national educational standards, relevance to the job market, and the incorporation of innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Quality Assurance: The office conducts regular quality assurance assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes. This involves collecting feedback from students, teachers, offices, and others to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary measures.
  • Facility Development: The EQC supports college development initiatives by providing training opportunities, workshops, and mentorship programs. It aims to enhance college members’ teaching skills, research capabilities, and overall professional growth.
  • Student Support: The office works closely with students to provide academic counseling, advising, and support services. This includes assisting students in selecting appropriate courses, addressing academic challenges, and promoting their overall wellbeing.
  • Accreditation and Certification: The EQC coordinates the college’s efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation and certification from relevant national bodies. This ensures that the college’s programs meet recognized standards of quality.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: The EQC builds and maintains partnerships with other academic institutions, government agencies, and industry organizations to enhance the college’s reputation, expand opportunities for students and faculty, and stay abreast of emerging trends in the field of natural and computational sciences.

In essence, the Natural and Computational Science College Educational Quality Coordination is a strategic unit dedicated to ensuring the excellence of education within the college. Through its various activities, it contributes to the overall success and reputation of the college of natural and computational sciences.

 

Vission

The vision is to establish the college as one of the three equivalent educational institutions in our country in the year 2030 in the fields of science education that maintain the quality of education.

To achieve the aforementioned mission and vision of the college, the quality educational coordination plays a crucial role on:

  •  Assisting in the achievement of the university’s mission by ensuring the quality of the college’s education and services and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Implementation of policies, guidelines and regulations for quality assurance of education and services.
  • Surveys on relevancy, quality of educational and academic services.
  • Monitoring and support for educational and academic services
